Description:

Nationally, over 2 million people sustain osteoporotic fracture annually - a number projected to dramatically increase as our population ages. However, osteoporosis prevention and treatment strategies are rapidly changing. Controversies surrounding optimal nutrition, use of diagnostic modalities and treatment thresholds, available medications and other therapies will be discussed.
