WAFP Health Equity & Anti-Racism Workgroup looking for new members

As members of WAFP, we are united by our mission to promote excellence and equity in health for all people in Wisconsin through the advancement of the art and science of Family Medicine. Our vision of competent, compassionate, and thriving family physicians advancing the health of our communities guides us in every endeavor.

We have an opportunity that aligns perfectly with this mission and vision. Our Health Equity & Anti-Racism Workgroup is seeking new members, and we could use your passion and expertise.

By joining this workgroup, you will have the opportunity to:

• Identify critical areas to focus on, such as health disparities, education, and member resources.
• Help integrate the principles of health equity and anti-racism into our existing WAFP strategic plan, setting tangible goals and ensuring accountability.
• Develop a statement and WAFP position for internal and external use. 

The workgroup will meet 4-6 times annually, providing a manageable way for you to contribute. Your participation will help shape a future where everyone in Wisconsin has access to equitable health care.
