“Call to Leadership”

In keeping with our theme on the history of family medicine, one of the important foundational beliefs of our specialty is that family physicians are well-positioned and trained to be leaders. Whether that be in the community, in our practices and hospitals, or with organized medicine, each of us should feel some call to leadership. One of the important leadership duties of serving as your WAFP president is attending the annual AAFP Annual Chapter Leader Forum and National Conference of Constituency Leaders which took place in Kansas City April 25-27,2019.
